THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING

Positivity, positivity, positivity. If someone says positivity to him or herself three times, then it will come to him or her like in the movie Beetlejuice, Candy Man (Have to say it five times), or the folklore, Bloody Mary. Even though, those are fictional, saying and believing positivity, can make a person feel good and have positive energy. Like my mom says, "You can speak things into your life by what you say." I am usually a pessimistic person, because things so far in my life has not been going the way that I want it to go. I am starting to think more positive as of late, and things are slightly improving. I have been down on myself for not getting a job in my field that I went to school for, clinical research. As of late, I have been getting calls so things are going better. I have been persistent of being proactive of seeking positions and keeping a positive attitude about it. This elevated my confidence and self-esteem that I am getting closer of reaching my goal in life. Anyone can have positivity in his or her life, by treating each day as a separate entity, and placing goals into his or her life. Some days a person might not have things his or her way, but someone should not let that predicate on what he or she can do the next day, or the day after that, or the day after that. Each day is different and one should treat it as such. Staying optimistic and believing will get someone where he or she is going. I know life can be challenging at times, but being positive and staying proactive in what he or she does will get you to where he or she wants to go or do. Believing is achieving. If someone can believe then he or she is halfway there. As Pat Riley, former NBA coach said, "If you have a positive attitude and constantly strive to give your best effort, eventually you will overcome your immediate problems and find you are ready for greater challenges." There are never hurdles too big to get over.
